Cookbook Review 175 Best Babycakes Cupcake Maker
Recipes Easy Recipes for Bite-size Cupcakes & More!
When I first saw the title of this new cookbook
"175 Best Babycakes Cupcake Maker Recipes: Easy Recipes
for Bite-size Cupcakes & More!" it was like it
just jumped out at me shouting pick me, pick me! I guess
that's because my favorite food in the whole array of
gourmet foods is a mere mortal cupcake. So baby sized
cakes was so inviting to me. The cover art on this
cookbook is beautifully done with it's enormously
frosted cupcakes in pastel pink. The piped creations are
really going to lure you inside when you see them with
their swirly curly tops.
What's in there waiting when you get past the juicy
softback cover? Oh just a little of what I like to
think of as magic-which is how I refer to the cupcake
maker appliance. I need to get me a second one of these
since the recipes are for double batches most of the
time. I did make several of the recipes though in my normal
cupcake baking equipment. I'm now going to have to get
one of these special cupcake making machines to have the
true babycakes experience for myself. I noticed on
Amazon that the authors of this cookbook also wrote the
recipe pamphlet that comes with the Babycakes Machine
how great is that?
Some of the goodies inside:
Bite-Size Cupcakes,Tarts
Cheesecakes & mini's
Christmas Chocolate cupcakes
Snowball Cupcakes
Champagne Cupcakes

My favorite recipe from the book is the Pineapple
Cupcakes because when you bake pineapples the fruit
takes on a brand new sweet sensation that is incredible
so roasting pineapple is a very good thing.
If you are wanting to impress some of your friends have
a cupcake making party and let the kids help too. It's
so much fun making almost instant babycakes and piping
them just how you want them. I'm a the more sprinkles
and designs the better kind of a girl so this is right
up my alley. I did also make the Southern Country Biscuits and they
were great tasting. You do have to remember to turn them
halfway thru so set your kitchen timer or you'll have a
sad turnout. The Marshmallow Frosting recipe is to die
for, it is so sweetly divine. I dabbed it on mine
sparingly since I'm diabetic and it was really good like
a gourmet cupcake shop would serve. I usually just put
marshmallow creme by itself as my cupcake topper of
choice since it's a fat free product but a change was
good.
Since it's Holiday time the next ones up to bat are
going to be the Gingerbread Cupcakes which I love to
have sitting around at Christmas time. One of the lower
fat recipes was the Honey Nut Muffins and they are
simply deliscious and no need for any frosting which is
great. Honey and nuts are both good for you products so
I would highly recommend you try that recipe to start.
The Cinnamon Toast Cups are nice for breakfast or any
time of day treats. I really think the whole family
loved those the most as I had to make several batches
as everyone kept wanting a 3rd and 4th one.
Speaking as a mom who adores her kitchen gadgets and
baking I can say that if you have someone on your
shopping list that loves to bake or just wants to get
their feet wet-this would be the book to get them
motivated.
On the back of this book it says that Babycakes proves
that the best things do come in small packages and I
wholeheartedly agree with that. Life's little pleasures
is what it's all about.
